In other news, officially three weeks before departure! (/arrival, because I'll be back just after I leave. Yay for time travel!)

Get ready Vancouverites: I'm coming back to UBC to get a Master's in history starting in September. :D

A big factor in this was that they offered me quite a lot of money, and McGill didn't offer me any (budget cuts I guess?), but I also applied to McGill non-thesis and have since decided that I would prefer to actually write one ( Read more... )

So, it's been a while, I guess. Mostly what happened was the five-day weekend, which was pretty excellent, although admittedly it messed up my hard-won school-matching sleep-schedule. ^^;

Hey, I'm back! I would have said this on Friday, but as I told CJ, I got home and we had no power. ^^; My parents were all, "... we kind of want to just stay at the airport. *huddle in warmth*" So, exciting times later, we have power back as of this morning. ^^

My flight was good. I'll be getting around to stuff in the next couple o' days. ^^
